Sir Ratan Naval Tata is the humble chairman of Tata Sons. Previously he was the chairman of the Tata group and has led the company to extensive growth throughout the time. We all know him as one of the most phenomenal industrialists in India with a well-established business and a philanthropist.

Sir Ratan Tata’s father, Naval Tata, was adopted by Ratanji Tata & Navajbai Tata. He was adopted from the J.N Petit Parsi Orphanage. His mother was very fond of her grandson. Soon when Sir Ratan Tata turned 10, his parents separated, and his grandmother raised him. But there are more interesting facts about Sir Ratan Tata:

  1. First Job

    We all have seen him as a well-established businessman leading the firms through every up and down, but it did not start this way. He took his first job in 1961 at Tata Motors and was responsible for managing the blast furnace & shovelling limestone.

    As much as people are fond of Tata cars, Sir Ratan Tata is enthusiastic about cars. His fondness for cars is exhibited by his car collection, which includes everything from a Honda Civic to a Maserati Quattroporte.
    His collection has Ferrari California, Cadillac XLR, Land Rover Freelander, Chrysler Sebring, Mercedes Benz S-Class, Mercedes Benz 500 SL, Jaguar F-Type, Jaguar XF-R, and others.
