- Honda City became the best selling sedan by selling 1,734 units in January. The company saw a 64% drop in sales as compared to the previous year.
- Hyundai Verna bagged the second position in the list of best selling sedans by selling 957 units whereas Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sold 835 units in the same time span.
- Skoda saw a very marginal dip in sales with just 3% drop in number. It stood at 4th position in the tally.
- Toyota Yaris came 5th in term of sales and saw a steep hike in sales with gaining 111% more in the same period as compared to the previous year.
The C-segment sedan has a chance of revival this year with cars like Honda City 5th gen launching this year. Hyundai also revealed its Aura sedan last month.
