For those wondering what a Sportback actually is, this is a trademarked name for Audi’s coupe designs. This is a sloping roof and might lack practicality at times. These designs come with added sportiness and ofcourse, an added price over the normal regular designs. The Audi Q3 Sportback is the latest addition to India’s sporty cars.
In India, we have the e-Tron Sportback, S5 Sportback and now the entry-level SUV, the Q3 has also got a range-topping Sportback version. The ex-showroom prices for the Audi Q3 start at INR 44.89 Lakhs and go up to 51.43 lakhs for the newly launched Sportback.

This newly launched vehicle is the only coupe in its segment. Considering the competitors, we have the BMW X1, Volvo XC40 and the Mercedes Benz GLA. Well, this is the sportiest of them all, must say. The other SUVs still carry a traditional proportional design element. The S-Line package comes as an add-on to this car and adds more sportiness to the vehicle.
The SUV comes with 18-inches alloy wheels and red brake callipers. This also carries a Quattro badging with LED headlights! Moving forward, a panoramic roof, gesture-controlled tailgate and LED combination tail lights are some other notable features. On the inside, we have Audi’s new dashboard with the latest design language and a 10″ touchscreen system comes along. There are knobs and buttons for some audio controls and dual-zone climate control.

The Audi Q3 Sportback is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine that makes 190hp and 320Nm of torque. This comes mated to a 7-speed S-Tronic and Quattro AWD system. There is 30-colour ambient lighting, Audi’s virtual cockpit, 10-speaker system, frameless auto-dimming IRVM and more. You can have this car in 5 colour options- Turbo Blue, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black and Navarra Blue. For the interior, two colour options, Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige are available. You can book a Q3 for yourself by paying a token amount of INR 2 Lakhs.
