When it comes to the engine, the Celerio ZXi+ AGS offers a 1.0 litre K10 C 3 cylinder petrol engine with an output of 67PS/89NM mated to a 5-speed Auto Gear Shift Transmission and engine idle start-stop technology for a supreme mileage of 26 Kmpl

The Swift VXi comes with an advanced 1.2 litre K series dual jet, dual VVT engine that produces an output of 90 PS/113 NM mated to a manual 5-speed shifter or a 5-speed AMT with manual returning a mileage of 22.38 Kmpl and AMT returning 22.56 Kmpl.

So, for the automatic lovers, both car variants provide an exceptional deal, with the Celerio offering the advantage of superior mileage of 26 Kmpl on automatic. But the Swift too isn’t bad and offers a great mileage number considering its bigger, and more power-packed engine.

When it comes to features, one thing that makes the Celerio attractive is the fact that the ZXi+ AGS version in question is the top-of-the-line trim that packs in everything the Celerio has to offer. On the other hand, the Swift VXi is the second trim in the ascending model hierarchy of the Car and misses out on a few Knicks and Knacks here and there.

However, when comparing the two versions of the hatches head-on, the Celerio brings in Alloy wheels, 7-inch smart play infotainment with voice commands, AC pollen filter, rear seat 60:40 split, electronic foldable ORVMs etc. which the Swift misses out in its VXi avatar.

Nonetheless, the Swift to offers several features over and above what the top-end model of the Celerio can provide. These include things like LED rear combination lamps, outside temperature display for AMT, piano black finish gear lever, MID, tweeters etc. which the Swift VXi offers.

When it comes to safety, the Celerio ZXi+ AGS despite being the top-of-the-line trim of the Celerio hatch offers dual airbags, speed sensing door locks, ABS, immobilizer, reverse parking sensor, and first-in-segment hill hold control, but misses out on features such as EBD with brake assist and ESP(AMT) which the Swift VXi offers.
