April 2016 saw the genesis of an idea so radical, it changed the very dynamics of the automobile service and repair industry. The idea we christened as GoMechanic. It all started with just 20 partner workshops across Delhi NCR and a pack of super committed lads and ladies who toiled day and night and kept the engine roaring. The thought behind the idea was simple; Affordable, Convenient and Reliable car services and solutions brought forward to the people. In fact, It was more of an intention than an idea; To bring structure, organisation and constitution to this unorganised sector.
2019 isn’t just a new year, it is the beginning of a new journey. GoMechanic celebrates a new avatar, a new face, a new logo, but the same Idea!
Lo and Behold!
The Evolution
2019 brought us many gifts. Looking back few months, we realise where we stand.
We got a great new workplace, we welcomed great new people. in fact just 6 months back we had a team strength of around 30. Today, the GoMechanic family stands 100 and proud.
Our second big step was venturing into “the land of opportunities” Aamchi Mumbai, which saw the team sweating hard and tough. Today, we have 30+ highly specialised workshops at major hotspots catering motorist across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
Pune was next. The “Oxford of the East” got the GoMechanic love and care it so deserved.
The biggest highlight of 2018 came when Big Oil giant Exxon Mobil partnered with GoMechanic as its exclusive lubricant partner. With Mobil by our side, the future holds great feats.
Next up! Taking expansion to the next level, we ventured into “The City of Nizams” Hyderabad, marking our 8th venture. Quite aptly, GoMechanic added the “Charm” to the Charminar City.

Just Getting Started
It’s been close to 3 odd years, but it feels like we’re just getting started. The evolution of GoMechanic has reached a new leg. Our tag line #GoSmart isn’t just a comprehension of smart. It is a connotation of what we’ve learned, what we’ve achieved, and what is yet to come. #GoSmart and Stay tuned!
