Honda has finally launched its BS6 compliant City in the petrol variant with a starting price of ₹ 9.91 lakhs only. Although the BS6 variant is on an average ₹15,000 more from its BS4 variant. With that said Honda has also decided to hike the price for its BS4 diesel variant but only by a marginal amount of ₹5,000.

The Japanese carmaker is also planning to introduce the all-new 2020 Honda City in India by the second quarter next year.
The BS6-compliant 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine 117hp and 145Nm of torque. The BS6 compliant Honda City with the choice of a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor is due to get an update in a few days.

According to these stats, the V, VX and the ZX Honda city BS6 variants have received a price hike due to the addition of an updated Digipad 2.0 infotainment system which comes with a Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a in-built satellite-linked turn-by-turn navigation, a live traffic support through a USB Wi-Fi receiver, voice command assist, and a wireless infrared remote. which to some eyes is of no use.
Moreover, The SV MT petrol variant doesn’t get any updates has still received a price hike of ₹ 10,000 for no reason. Well worth it or not it surely is India’s favourite sedan.
