What is NCAP?

What is NCAP?

NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) provides scientific crash test ratings that rank a vehicle’s safety performance. Two key NCAP programs relevant to Indian buyers are:

  1. Global NCAP: Focuses on adult and child occupant safety through front and side-impact tests.
  2. Bharat NCAP: India’s localised safety protocol launched in 2023. It aligns with international standards while focusing on Indian roads.

Hyundai Alcazar Safety Rating: What to expect

Hyundai Alcazer Global NCAP and Bharat Safety Ratings and crash test results have not been published officially and are yet to be announced officially.
