Hyundai’s Micro Mobility Concept makes an appearance at Auto Expo 2025. Hyundai is in discussion with TVS Motor to explore a partnership opportunity aiming to achieve last-mile connectivity in India with advanced mobility solutions.

Innovative Micro Mobility Concept
Hyundai unveiled its Micro Mobility Concept vehicles that aim to redefine three-wheelers. The Concept included E3W and E4W.
The Electric 3 Wheelers (E3W) concept aims to act as a people mover, shipper, or emergency response vehicle. Key features include large tires for rough terrains, an adjustable height for traveling through waterlogged streets during monsoon seasons, and foldable back seats to enhance accessibility for wheelchair users.
The Electric 4 Wheeler (E4W) concept focuses on a modular design for practicality and manufacturing simplicity. Hyundai’s design includes an angled windshield for better collision protection and visibility, a towing hook for easy recovery from difficult terrains, and a flat floor for added comfort.

The vehicles’ interiors consist of heat-reducing gloss paint, water-resistant materials, and adaptable storage. These features are required to tackle India’s unique climatic and urban challenges. The design is based on the concept of “Aakaashi Blue” symbolizing India’s limitless aspirations and resilience.

Vision for Sustainable Mobility
SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design showed his care for people in India and commitment towards exploring micro-mobility solutions according to India’s unique needs. He intends to do this by redesigning the traditional three-wheeler and also by making it safer, and sustainable.
Sharad Mishra, President of Group Strategy at TVS Motor Company, highlighted the alliance between Hyundai’s global expertise and TVS’s local understanding while showing excitement about the potential partnership.

Future Ahead
Hyundai and TVS aim to evaluate the practicality of this Micro Mobility Concept. Subject to favorable evaluation, the Electric 3 Wheelers could enter production in collaboration with TVS while the Electric 4 Wheelers could be produced keep Global Market in mind.
With the collaboration Hyundai and TVS aim to improve urban Mobility by providing accessibility, sustainability, and safety all over India. This collaboration can change India’s rapidly evolving mobility sector.
