Seems like doorstep delivery for anything is pretty much the norm for today. In another venture, Indian Oil Corporation has partnered with Pepfuels and Repos startups to provide doorstep delivery of automotive fuel.

Delhi-based Pepfuels and Pune-based Repos Energy will offer doorstep delivery for fuels like Diesel via mobile dispensers straight to a consumer’s home. The services will be introduced in Delhi NCR, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Varanasi and Raigarh.
A user can place their order on the website or through their mobile app. Both these companies promise to deliver diesel fuel on the same day of booking. However, the customer is liable to pay a delivery charge.
After placing an order the order details (name, mobile number, quantity, address and time of delivery) will be deligated to the partner Indian Oil petrol bunker. It is then the Pepfuels or Repos would pick up the order and deliver it to the customer.
Where Repos Energy is handling deliveries for Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Varanasi and Raigarh Pepfuels will be catering Delhi and NCR.

Repos Energy will ensure fuel delivery using a fuel delivery vehicle fitted with a mobile dispenser along with a 6,000-litre fuel tank. Pepfuels will use an IoT (Internet-of-things)-enabled fuel dispenser controlled by the cloud-based platform to deliver fuel.
Repos Energy was founded in 2017 by Chetan Walunj and Aditi Bhosale Walunj. Repos Energy caters to hotels like Taj, Westin, JW Marriot, Radisson and clients like Sunburn and Indian Premier League (IPL) to name some.
Pepfuels was founded on January 19, 2017, by Tikendra Yadav. The company covers different industrial sectors like housing society, manufacturing industries, hotels, corporate offices, colleges, hospitals and more. Currently, Pepfuels is operational from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, but it plans to go 24×7 soon.

Pepfuels founder Tikendra Yadav says “(Pepfuels) holds the patent for IoT-enabled fuel dispenser that is considered as the next most significant revolution in the segment. The dispensing unit is controlled by the cloud-based platform, which eliminates the risk of wastage and other concerns”.
This company is applying GST on fuel. How is this possible? Fuel is not covered under GST yet!
The GST is levied by the company on the delivery charges and not on the fuel charges. Fuel is not included under GST yet.
