Much recently South-Korean Auto giant revealed its next-in-line model for the domestic market, the Kia Sonet sub-4 meter SUV set to hit Indian shores by September 2020.
The Kia Sonet will be offered in two-trims- Tech Line and GT Line with multiple engines and transmission options. Furthermore, the Sonet line-up will have 5 variants from the Tech-line while only one will be offered with the GT Line model.

It is indeed unfortunate that KIA doesn’t offer paddle shifters with the DCT transmissions.
I am thinking of getting the Diesel version of the GTX+ due to its higher low end torque characteristics required for most city driving. Will test drive the Turbo Petrol engine as well for comparison. I wonder why car manufacturers in India don’t publish HP/PS and Torque graphs as part of the marketing literature???
Car Manufacturers in India tend to pander to the general audience who mostly need to know the basic power figures. The enthusiast is a niche that car makers don’t really care about hence, the absence of the torque/horsepower graphs.
