Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Blitz, a special edition of its popular hatchback, Swift, for this festive season. Available through Maruti Arena dealerships, the Swift Blitz will be sold for a limited time to push lower-spec trim sales.

Swift Blitz: Features and Pricing
The Blitz carries 5 variants: LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O), and VXI(O) AMT. While retaining all standard features, this festive edition flaunts extras like Maruti’s rear underbody spoiler, boot-mounted spoiler, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, and door visors with side moulding.
This accessory package, valued at ₹49,848, is offered free with Swift Blitz prices ranging from ₹6.49 lakh to ₹8.02 lakh.
Swift Blitz: Engine and Performance
Twinning mechanically with the 2024 May Swift, the Blitz is powered by a 1.2-litre V3 engine that delivers 82hp and 112Nm on petrol and 70hp and 112Nm on CNG. The petrol powertrain features a standard 5-speed manual gearbox with a 5-speed AMT option with all variants except the base trim.

Festive Special Editions from Maruti
The Swift Blitz is Maruti’s fifth festive edition, following the Baleno Regal, Grand Vitara Dominion, Wagon R Waltz, and Ignis Radiance editions.
The Blitz edition is part of Maruti’s strategy to boost sales during the festive period, offering additional value to buyers without increasing prices.
