Global NCAP? What is that?
Global New Car Assessment Program, is a program that evaluates the safety standards of vehicles. It not only promotes safety standards, but it also tests vehicle safety and gives ratings accordingly. - Safety features – It is checked whether the vehicle possesses the required safety features to prevent any kind of incident. These features include ESC, ABS, etc.
Maruti Swift Safety Rating by Global NCAP
The Maruti Swift Safety Rating test by Global NCAP was conducted in the year 2022, it was tested in different scenarios such as
- Frontal offset deformable barrier test.
- Side movable deformable barrier test (car).
- Side pole impact test (pole).
On the basis of these tests, the Maruti Swift Safety Rating was determined by Global NCAP, it secured:
- 19.19 out of 34.00 for Adult Occupant safety
- 16.68 out of 49.00 for Child Occupant safety.
