10 Beautifully Modified Skoda Octavia in India

Germans are known to build cars that last long and perform the best. One such creation is the Skoda Octavia. It came to our shores back in 2002 and since then has gained popularity amongst the Indian masses. There is one version of Octavia that is specially chosen for modification purposes and that is the Octavia vRS. Skoda Octavia vRS was launched in India back in 2005. It was a real powerhouse with over 190hp of power and 280Nm of torque at disposal. Automotive enthusiasts all around the country have been modifying the beast to ooze out more. Here is a list of 10 such beautifully modified Skoda Octavia vRS. Have a look.

1. A Blend of Beauty and Power
   

   

   This Skoda Octavia VRS MK1 has been modified to ooze out performance at every rev. I came across this beauty while scrolling down the Instagram and the name VRS7007 popped. A lot of work has been done in the modification of this Octavia. The ECU has been remapped with Revo Stage 2 ECU Remap. For better air intake, the stock air filter has been replaced by the K&N high-flow cold air intake. It also gets HKS blow-off valve and Audi A6’s direct ignition coils. For the suspension duties, it gets Accuair Suspension kit with High-Performance Racing Airlift Suspension airbags. But this is just a glimpse of what actually has gone into this beast. 2. The White Walker

   

   Modifications done by Autopsyche, Delhi on this white Skoda Octavia VRS have led the surge in the output. From the stock 228hp to 337hp of power upgrade and 350Nm to 470Nm torque upgrade. As the modifiers say, ‘Life is too short to remain stock’. The mods that have been performed according to their Facebook page are Revo Stage 2 ECU Remap, Racingline Performance high-flow filter, Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs and Forged wheel spacers.

3. The Red Monster

   

   This Skoda Octavia vRS which is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine has got a ton of modifications done. This level of tuning and performance upgrades has led the power to increase to 440hp and the torque to a massive 550Nm. Talking about the mods this Octavia vRS has got Stage 3 TVS Engineering Performance Tune, Stage 3 TVS Engineering TCU Tune and PNP LM440 (IS20 Hybrid) Turbo Upgrade.

   No wonder why the performance figures are shooting high. To complement these numbers, this Octavia also gets Milltek Sport Decat Downpipe with a Catback Pipe with Milltek Quad Exhaust Tips, RacingLine Performance R600 Intake System, RacingLine Performance Turbo Inlet & 90-degree Bend Pipe, RacingLine Performance Turbo Muffler Delete Pipe, GoFastBits VTS Blow-Off Valve, ECS Tuning Boost Pipe Kit with RS3 Coil Pack & RS7 Spark Plugs.

4. Herculean Skoda Octavia vRS

   

   Were the engine output figures mentioned above too much? Wait till you hear the power specs for this white beauty. The 2.0-litre TSI engine in this Octavia vRS is capable of producing 482hp of power and 590Nm of torque. Yes, you read that right! But how? This modified Skoda Octavia vRS has got Stage 3+ APR Performance Tune, Stage 3+ Borg Warner EFR 7163 Turbo Upgrade, Stage 3+ APR Performance TCU Tune and Stage 3+ APR Performance Race Downpipe with a Remus Resonated Catback Exhaust System along with a Valvetronic Unit for the engine to ooze out performance at every rev.

5. Old yet Powerful

   

   This first generation of Skoda Octavia vRS is not the most powerful on the list. Yet it has a power output of around 220hp which nevertheless is not at all less. Talking about the modifications, it has got Stage 2 Evotech Motorsport Performance Tune which makes the power output possible. It also gets Milltek Sport Downpipe with a Remus End can, BMC DIA Intake System, Force Motorsport Blow-Off Valve, Audi R8 Coil Pack, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, D2 Racing Adjustable Suspension Upgrade, EBC Brake Rotors with Brembo Pads, 18-inch rims wrapped in 215/40/18 Nankang rubber, and Magic Black Paint job.

6. A 425hp Powerhouse

   

   This is one of the very few Octavias in India that have been upgraded to Stage 3 of tuning. It has got an IS38 turbocharger with Borg Wagner tuner completion Intercooler. R600 takes care of the intake. An imported non-resonated exhaust system from the UK does the job in this mean machine. It has been equipped with sway bars at both the ends. TVS Stage 3 Remap for the DSG transmission has been done in order to make it compatible with the raw power the engine now produces. To meet the braking requirements, brakes from Black Diamond, UK have been brought it which have ceramic brake pads. RS245 Alloy wheels with Michelin PS4 Tyres do the job to keep the car running on the roads. I found this beast on the Youtube channel of Turboxtreme.

7. Satan’s Own Child

   

   This modification has been done by Gear Headz. They have not only made this Skoda Octavia a powerful one but also made cosmetic changes which make it look like a devil. The 2.0-litre TSI engine with Stage 3 APR Performance Tune, Stage 3 APR TCU (Transmission Control Unit) Tune, IS38 Turbo Upgrade produce around 400hp of power and 560Nm of torque. In addition to these upgrades it also gets APR Carbonio Intake System, APR Race Spec Downpipe with a Custom Gearheadz Valvetronic Non-resonated Catback Exhaust System, Wagner Competition Intercooler Upgrade, Autotech HPFP (High-Pressure Fuel Pump), Pendulum Mount, Dogbone Mount Inserts, Polyurethane Upper Mount & Transmission Mounts, NGK R7437-9 Spark Plugs, Forged Motorsport Blow-off Valve, APR Turbo Muffler, APR Turbo Inlet Pipe with 13-Row Oil Cooler, Front & Rear Sway Bars and Hawk Performance Brake Pads.

8. The Inferno

   

   Autopsyche India, the owner of this Octavia names it the Inferno. This Skoda Octavia vRS gets a lot of cosmetic as well as performance upgrades. The engine with the Revo Stg2 ECU Remap and TVS Stg2+ DSG Remap make around 320hp of power and a peak torque of 500Nm. Other performance upgrades are RacingLine Cup Edition Air Intake, RacingLine Turbo Inlet & Bend Pipe, Milltek Decat Turboback Exhaust, Borla XR1 Race Series Mufflers, Eibach Pro-Street-S Coilover Suspension, 19-inch OZ Rally Racing Wheels with 255/35 Dunlop Sportmaxx Tires. For the cosmetic touch, it gets Blacked-out Grille, Wing Mirrors, Roof, Spoiler, Bumper Splitter, and Dark Smoke Tinted High Beam Lamp.

9. The Grime Reaper

   

   The stock engine on the Skoda Octavia churns out 177hp of power and a peak torque of 250Nm. This midnight black Octavia makes over 310hp of power and a peak torque of 400Nm. How? It has got an ISO20 certified turbo with Wagner tuning intercooler. The engine has also been given a stage 3 tuning to reach such power figures. The gearbox also has been upgraded with stage 3 tuning so that it can complement the power.

10. The…Wait For It…Octavia

    

    This Octavia vRS has been modified by Mandeep Singh. The 2.0-litre TSI engine at his Skoda Octavia vRS produces 350hp of power and a peak torque of 520Nm. But how?
