There are so many unique styles, shapes, and colors to choose from; if you’re like me, it can be hard to decide which one fits your personality best. But even with all those options available, sometimes the most obvious choice just doesn’t cut it — especially when it comes to performance cars.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
The Maruti Suzuki Swift is a good car, but it could be better. It has a powerful engine and a smooth transmission, but there are still some niggles that keep you from being completely satisfied. The suspension isn’t up to the mark either: it’s uncomfortable enough for long drives or even just curving around corners at high speeds.
So if you’re looking for something new in your garage (or on your driveway), then this isn’t for you—but if you want something cheap that does its job well enough with some added extras thrown in, then maybe this is what your car needs!
Hyundai Verna
The Hyundai Verna is a good car, but not a performance car. It’s a comfortable and safe ride that can easily handle daily commuting chores. It has enough power to deliver its passengers to their destinations on time and enough space for your family members if you have them along for the ride!
The Hyundai Verna is an all-around vehicle that will get you from point A to B without any issues in comfort or safety. This makes it one of the best options available when looking for an affordable small sedan with good fuel efficiency ratings (17.7 kmpl)
Volkswagen Polo
The Volkswagen Polo has a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 189bhp. It’s a very efficient car, with fuel consumption figures of 16.34km/l. In addition to its good looks and practicality, the Polo is affordable at just over 20 lakhs with Automatic transmission. The 0-100 kmph time is 7.2 seconds – not bad considering its size and weight (1,300kg) – but if you want something even quicker there are some other options out there…
Tata Altroz
Tata Altroz is a compact Hatchback car produced by Tata Motors. It was launched in India on January 2020 as the fifth generation of the Indigo and is available only with a 1.2L petrol engine which produces 88bhp of power and 200Nm torque at 1250-3000rpm. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission and also an option for an automatic one like most Indian Hatchbacks today, but it does come with ABS as standard equipment. The fuel tank capacity is 37 liters, we will love to see its performance version because the car has a 5-star safety rating which makes it the best for safety and that is the only thing that makes it the safest car in India.
Honda City
The Honda City is a great car to drive. It’s small and light, which makes it nimble and quick for city driving. But the lack of power makes it feel like you’re driving a hatchback rather than a Sedan. Honda has made improvements since our last visit with their lineup of Civics in recent years, but they still suffer from some shortcomings that keep them from being considered performance cars today:
- No AWD option – There are no convertibles available with four-wheel drive (only two-wheel drive), so if you want AWD on your Civic coupe you’ll have to buy one without it. That’s disappointing because I like having all-wheel drive as standard equipment whenever possible; otherwise, I’d probably opt for another manufacturer’s model instead because they offer more features such as better interior quality and amenities like heated seats and navigation systems at lower prices per km traveled than other brands’ models do.
Our Take: Cars Wished As Performance Car
We’re not saying that these cars are the best ones out there. But they represent a snapshot of how our tastes have changed over time. The first one, for example, is an iconic car that’s still around and loved by many people. The last two are modern and exciting but don’t necessarily look like classics, either way, you slice it!
