Scooter enthusiasts stand a chance to discover everything one needs to know about the scooters-Avenis and Burgman!

In this blog, we shall shed light on other changes to the Suzuki Avenis and Suzuki Burgman series. These are in terms of design, price, and what makes these scooters special, aside from the new engines and colors. There will be some technical updates, including their features and how Suzuki has improved upon them.

What is New: Suzuki Avenis

It is a chic scooter, and its sustained fame is attributed to its performance and elegant looks. If you’re meaning to get one for yourself, the time couldn’t be better, as it comes with a few crucial updates.

What is New Suzuki Avenis

Engine Update: OBD-2B Compliant

Perhaps the most significant update to the Avenis is the engine. The engine has been updated in compliance with the OBD-2B emission regulations. These are recently devised laws to control pollution and gain an eco-friendliness status for the product. So Avenis now has a cleaner engine that is less of a pollutant and more of a friend of Mother Nature. And, of course, the engine of the Avenis is still 124cc.  It gives out 8.7 hp and 10 Nm of torque, so expectations are high for a good performance.

Colors and Variants: More Choice Than Ever!

The Suzuki Avenis now comes in two variants: the Standard version and the Special Edition. Each of these variants exhibits different color options, so you can choose one according to your personality and style.

  • Standard Variant: Price: Rs 93,200
Available Colours: Black and Red, Yellow and Black, Black and White, Glossy Black
  • Special Edition: Price: Rs 93,800
Available Colours: Matte Black, Matte Silver

It’s an additional Rs 800 for the Special Edition as against the Standard variant, but it looks very stylish; it has a matte finish that looks very cool and modern. It’s for people looking for a tiny bit more style!

What Made the Suzuki Burgman Series Cool?

Suzuki Burgman is the next in the list, there are two models, namely: Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX. These are premium, larger scooters than Avenis. These are even updated to the new OBD-2B emission standards that make it much greener. These two scooters are kitted with the same 124cc engine as on the Avenis. Thus, they also produce the same 8.7 hp and 10Nm torque, and you would get the same performance as the Avenis, with some extra features for comfort and style.

What Are OBD-2B Emission Standards and What Is Its Significance?

What Are OBD-2B Emission Standards and What Is Its Significance

You might have heard of OBD-2B and emission standards, what does it really mean for you and your scooter? Well put, OBD-2B refers to On-Board Diagnostics Level 2B. This means a set of rules ensuring that vehicles, scooters, and automobiles alike, emit less damaging emissions that tend to affect air quality and contribute to climate change. So when Avenis and Burgman scooters are new, complying with new emission standards would mean they’re less harmful to the environment. Suzuki has been updating these engines to comply with O-2B standards and keeping in mind performance versus pollution. Thus, in turn, pollution is contained, making it a cleaner world for all.

What Makes These Scooters Special?

What do the Avenis and Burgman series offer that other scooters do not? A short glance at the highlights of these scooters:

  • Eco-Friendly Engines: Thanks to their upgraded engine, these scooters comply with the latest OBD-2B emission standards and are environmental pollutants.
  • Good Performance: The 124cc engine common to both the Avenis and Burgman scooters offers a blend of power and enjoyment.
  • Stylish Designs: The scooters look as good as they perform, with eye-popping shades and matte options.
