The Indian EV market has just got another contender which will make the game difficult for the upcoming electric cars. Tata Motors has just dropped another electric SUV which will sit above the Nexon EV. The current unveil confirms the coupe design of the upcoming SUV which has been named Tata Curvv. Not all of us are EV lovers, right? This is exactly why Tata has also planned to launch the same coupe in an IC format too. They will start from EV but will add petrol and diesel powertrain options later on in the lineup.
For those who don’t know yet, Tata is already planning to bring in a long-range version of the Nexon EV and the Altroz EV into the Indian market. With this futuristic design unveiled today, Tata Motors seems to be on a roll! This one is based on the Sierra EV concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020.
Tata Curvv – Powertrain and Range
Talking about the range and powertrain, Tata has not stated anything officially about the new Curvv but we can expect a range of 400-450kms as this SUV seems very promising so developing it s a low-ranged vehicle is what Tata won’t do ever. What do you expect the range to be? Do let us know in the comments section below!
Tata’s first generation of EVs which are powered by Ziptron has already proven their reliability and credibility. Now that Tata is in the phase of developing the second generation, we can surely expect a higher range while maintaining the standards already set by Ziptron.
