A BS6-compliant 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine which can churn about 147.94hp of power and a peak torque of 250Nm powers the all-new SUV from VW. A 7-speed automatic DSG does the job of transmission in this SUV.

The T-Roc has dynamically designed LED headlamps and tail lamps which give the SUV a sporty stance. It also gets R17inch ‘Mayfield’ diamond-cut alloy wheels to complement the bold design. At the interior, the VW T-Roc oozes luxury. It gets 2-zone climate control, ‘Vienna’ leather seats, touchscreen infotainment system and active info display. It also gets panoramic sunroof so that you carry a piece of sky wherever you go.

Price and Rivals
Volkswagen has launched the T-Roc with an introductory price of ₹19,99,000. The high price is due to the CBU route Volkswagen has taken to bring in the SUV. It has got no direct rivals in the segment yet, but due to its price, it will compete with the likes of top-spec Kia Seltos, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier.
