WagonR was launched in 1999 and specifically targeted for households and families. It was presented as a safe and multi-purposely used car, and the marketing didn’t fail. It’s been almost 20 years now, and the craze of the Swift has only elevated, making it one of the evergreen cars to this date.

Honda City (1998)

Honda City

People who drove Honda City in the initial days have now become old but not the car. Since 1998, it has been consistent, and you can blame demand for that. Honda is now manufacturing 5th generation of City in India, and selling almost 1000 units a month. Its convenience and drive feel make it an evergreen car, yet to this point.

Toyota Innova (2005)

Toyota Innova

Innova deserves to be here. An MPV with Toyota’s reliability and good mileage? Yes. Toyota launched Innova in the year of 2005, and just after its launch, the sales went spiraling. Hyundai i10 (2007)

Hyundai i10

Once a popular hatchback on the Indian roads, the Hyundai i10 still makes its appearance. In 2007, Hyundai launched the i10 to tackle the other hatchbacks at the time (Maruti Swift, Wagon R, etc), and we can state that it did. It offered great mileage, convenience, and stability in driving. Now, Hyundai manufactures the i10 as a semi-sport hatchback, complimenting the Hyundai i20 Nios sport.

Once and Forever?

These were the cars that have stated their presence, resilience, and compatibility with Indian consumers. If we pay little attention to the fact that these old cars are still in production rather than being discontinued, we’ll find the USPs these cars offer.
