Volkswagen showcased four of its new SUV that will be coming to the Indian market and the first one to launch in the coming months is the T-Roc.
T-Roc will be imported to India as a CBU(Completely Built Unit) and will fall under the 2,500 car import rule. The rule allows car manufacturers to import 2,500 CBU (Completely Built Unit) or CKD (Completely Knocked Down) per year.

Volkswagen T-Roc | Engine Specifications
The T-Roc comes with only one engine option which is currently revealed and most probably will be that way.
- The SUV is powered by a 1.5 Litre TSI Petrol Engine.
- The engine is mated with a 7 Speed DSG transmission.
- It can go from 0-100Km/h in 8.4 seconds.
- Maximum Speed of this SUV is 205 Km/h.

Internal/ External Features

Volkswagen has included some decent features in its SUV.
- It comes with LED headlamps that are Daylight Running Lamps.
- “Vienna” leather seat upholstery for the premium look.
- A touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
- Volkswagen T-Roc also comes with KESSY which allows keyless car entry and ignition.
- “Climatronic” Auto AC ensure perfect cabin conditions.
- Reverse parking camera and tyre pressure monitoring system are some other features.

Volkswagen T-Roc | Safety Features
The car comes loaded with various safety features making sure your drive is safe.
- Anti-lock Braking System(ABS) to ensure perfect steering control.
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to prevent overshooting sharp turns.
- Anit-Skid Regulation (ASR) which works in tandem with ABS preventing over accelerating of tires.
- 6 Airbags to help passengers if the car crashes.
Volkswagen T-Roc is expected to launch in coming months first of the four SUV that will launch in India. It will rival Hyundai Tucson, MG Hector, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta. Expected price is around 20-23 Lakhs INR.
